New Lathe infeed clairification.

Hi Eldar,
Thanks for the infeed addition.
It has however created some confusion on my part as to the what I am seeing.

The infeed results seem to be based upon feeding with the cross feed when it has been my practice (and how I was tought) for many years to use the compound infeed (except for the very last cut) and don't believe I am alone in that.

Also the terms UN and UNR/V used in the height and infeed amount are unknown to me and I wasn't able to find any direct or specific information that clarified that when searching the web.

Thanks much

Ken

It is calculated for the compound infeed.
However i do realize now that i should have been half of that because the graduation will be showing radial distance.
I will have to fix that later.

When Root Radius is entered UNR / V row will be displaying thread height of the UNR form thread.
Otherwise straight V will be shown which has 0 root radius.

Let me know if there is something else wrong/not clear.

Regards.
