Circle/Ramp can't select ramp plunging

I'm attempting to set up a pocket clearing operation where I helix ramp into the material, then use a high speed clearing strategy (large DOC, small WOC, not slotting using the full cutter width). The default cutting parameters look reasonable as shown in the screenshot:

I go into Circle/Ramp and input the helix parameters and ramp angle and check Ramp Plunging since I am only using the ramp to plunge per the article you wrote.

When I click Apply, it overwrites the DOC and WOC with the pitch and width from the Circle/Ramp dialog.

If I return to Circle/Ramp, the selection has moved to Ramp Milling. I can not get it to stay on Ramp Plunging and it has reduced my feeds.

Is there some parameter I set that is forcing it to allow only Ramp Milling?

Or is the correct usage to treat these as two completely separate calculations where the helix is ramp milling as shown above, and for the main pocket clearing I clear this and treat it like normal cut?

What I expected to happen was for the main screen DOC and WOC to not be affected by enabling Circle/Ramp and only the plunge feed to have been changed since I was using Ramp Plunging but it seems to ignore the selection and treat as Ramp Milling.

I noticed this also. This is a recent thing as it never used to do that. I've just been using the plunge feed that populates after it calculates. But no you haven't done anything wrong. I'm sure Eldar will address this soon.

I'm having the same issue. The feed calculated after selecting Circle/Ramp is now also extremely low. I went back and compared against some old programs I have and the values are significantly different.

In response to MikeHorton's workaround of just using the plunge feed that populates initially: Plunge feed changes based on the WOC value, which doesn't really make sense to me...

Is there any way to download an older release of HSMAdvisor? Seems like it worked better before.

Ramp angle also seems to have no effect on output.

Hi, can you attach a screenshot or send me an email? Also, I don't want you to download an older version. I want to figure out if there is a problem and fix it.
