I want to buy a TiSiN endmill but i cant find this coating in HSMA, is it a coating with nearly the same specs available? Sorry for the possible dumb question but i'm self-taught hobbyist. thanks for your answer. cheers

Hello, By the description of it it looks a lot like TiAlN coating. So you would be fine using that as a substitute.

here is the data from the manufacturer and S&F for Stainless Steel 303 first time manaufacturer give feed and speed higher than HSMA

Please cross-reference against other materials. Most tool manufacturers consider 303 alsost a mild carbon steel. But in real life many people have issues with it it the speeds recommended by them. Check against D2, for example. If it's still off, you can use whatever coating will give the most appropriate cutting speed. I haven't used that coating, so please let me know how it goes.

i will stay confident with HSMA, it always give me good numbers. i dont think i have enough experience to see a difference and explain it, until now i had always use chinese endmill in aluminium, but i'll try to give you a feedback. It will not be really soon i just starting the prototyping of this product and there is a lot of work to do thanks again for your time, you are really great
