Confusing Circle/Ramp output
Firstly congratulations on good software. With the view to making it even better could I suggest some improvements? I am in UK and use mm - the Straight Line Ramping Parameters in the Circular Interpolation/Ramping Calculator is in Inches and it doesnt seem possible to change it even though everything else is in mm The whole Circular Interpolation/Ramping terminology and resulting feed rates are very confusing. Whats the difference between Ramp Plunging and Ramp Milling? what does the Plunge Feed rate relate to? is it vertical plunge rate or ramping feed rate?? What I would like to see is clear distinction between Horizontal feed rates, Vertical Plunge feed rates, Helical Ramp feed rates and Straight Line Ramp feed rates. I would like to see seperate output feed rate values for: Horizontal Cutting Feed (normal cutting) Vertical Plunge Feed (plunge tool vertically into stock) Helical Ramp Feed (helical ramping into stock to clear pockets, boring predrilled pockets, etc - reduces centerline feed rate to account for radius of tool to maintain Horizontal Cutting feed rate at outside of tool) Straight Line Ramp Feed (ramping into a slot for example) I really like the Ramping Motion/Straight Line Paramters and Ramp Angle Calulators its just the resulting feed rates are confusing - I dont know what to copy and paste into Fusion 360 Many thanks

Apologies I would also add Circular Interpolation Feed

Hello, HSMAdvisor help pages have a write-up on ramping functionality: https://hsmadvisor.com/help?article_id=4781_circular-interpolation-ramping-calculator Please check it out and let me know if you have any qualifications.
