Database size

We have recently purchased HSM Advisor and will be placing our database on a shared network location. To that end, my IT manager has asked about the size and potential growth of the database. An export of the default tool database sits at just over 1MB. Can anyone comment on the potential growth of the database over time and what a reasonable expectation would be for, perhaps 1 year of use, or longer. Also are there any other files, aside from the tool database xml file, that need to be moved to the shared location? Thank you.

Hello, Thank you for the purchase. Just make sure to check the "Shared Database" check box in HSMAdvisor settings. This makes HSMAdvisor compress the data base and more regularly update the changes. This setting is a must when having the DB on a shared drive. You can also place the machine library on a shared drive if you want all instances access the same list of machines. To go about that you can just "Export" the machine library to the drive and then "Open" it from the new place Best regards.
