It seems that HSMAdvisor does not inform the user about updated versions of the application being ready for download. This is something that could be improved in future versions.

Of course it does! Perhaps it is turned off in your settings? The notification is displayed on the bottom tool bar. Regards.

Thanks. I can see it now. I was not paying attention to the status bar and was expecting something along the lines of a dialog when starting the application.
