Boring Bar Calcs

Just a small request on the boring bar calculations. When the length of the boring bar overhang is more then 3-4 times its diameter, the general rule i was taught over thirty odd years ago was to decrease the speed by a factor of at least 2 if not more. this was to reduce chatter as increasing feed only makes it worse.I find that the calcs in the program are terribly wrong in this regard. And try as you might, they are always wrong at an overhang above 4 times the bar dia.
