Input diameters not maintained in some areas.
The input tool diameter is not being maintained correctly in the "Library" or the "Hole Parameters" it is displayed correctly in the "Tool Geometry" Ken

I just checked if i missed anything. Nope what you describe is a planned behaviour. Tool data like diameter and such is saved with tool. And cut data is saved with cut. Also make sure you download latest update, so that we are talking about the same thing.

Am using the latest version. "planned behaviour" If you say so  However, In my humble and somewhat (not totally) ignorant opinion, Tip Diameter in the tool Geometry read out should be matching that tools diameter with in the Library. As is the only sorting with in the library is by default the tool#, do you have any plans at some point to add the ability to sort by column in the libraries, especially by diameter and material? Did find a problem with in the library when right clicking on a tool and selecting "View Information", Simply saving or changing any parameter and saving causes the tool diameter value to the first tool previously selected and changed. The error was repeatable. Thanks

Try creating a new drill with say a diameter .1256 Add tool, library will show .126, when you select the tool the "Tip Diam" will show the correct .1256 Ken

Ahh you mean rounding in the library view! Okay, i will make it 4 digits

Hopefully it will require only a simple variable declaration change. You must not require much sleep.

Yes its an easy fix. I only require 4-5 hours of sleep to function somewhat. Ken, i dont know how to thank you enough for your help!

Thanks for kind words! A version 0.021 has just been released You can download it here. http://hsmadvisor.com/index.php?page=Download All of the above reported issues have been fixed. Also there is a picture in drilling operation that describes how effective diameter works .... .... And yeah i do run that 1/4" drill at 10000RPM and 150 IPM in Aluminum  (See attached picture)

Oh can't i brag a little? I know many places where they dont run drills faster than 10ipm! In any material!

Just messing with you, dont doubt it one bit, I'm not that aggressive but also don't have the experience or RPM's :) RPM rules in machining coupled with great machining calculator :)

I edit a new "Machine" in Machine Definition and set the hp to 1.5 The "Max Power" rounds up to 2 hp David

I also saw that little issue creeped back in as well, likely a moot issues in reality. Ken
