HSM for windows
Hi Liked the online program so thought I would try out the Windows version. I used the default path as suggested and I definitely have net 4.0 installed. But the program comes up with the following errors when I try to use it See attached screen shots Any suggestions as to what the problem is. Thanks Dale

Hi. Seems i screwed up default settings file last time i made an update. It only affects new installs. I will publish an uodate tonight to fix it. But you can fix it yoirself by going to HSMAdvisor Settings page. Look for myCUT DB settings. On that panel there is a button with green "v" picture on it. Click that button to reset the path to your tool database to default. Thanks for letting me know.

UPdate I have fixed the problem. you can either re-install from the website (make sure you delete the HSMAdvisor install folder) or fix it the way i suggested in the post above

Thanks for that, is there a tutorial available to help me input feeds and speeds or should the program be taking information from a data base. I am trying to work out feeds and speeds for a 6mm bull nose carbide cutter, I have added all the tool data but nothing is showing up in the feeds and speeds. There is an error below saying Warning: Resulting RPM is below minimum set in your machine limits, RPM was adjusted to match Min RPM Remedy: Use smaller cutter. I have put the same data into the online version and it gives me a suggested feed and speed. I have no doubt it is something I am doing wrong, just not sure what. Screen shot of HSM attached
