Tool Torque ?

Is this: a) The shearing torque on the tool itself - so, theoretically it will snap at 100% b) The grip on it's shank in the holder and thus it will slip in its holder at 100% c) Or something else entirely... Please clarify - thank you and regards...

Hi, It is the shearing torque on the tool shank or flute portion whichever is weaker. Has nothing to do with your tool holder holding power. It is assumed your tool holding is adequate. But theoretical max is 200% (like it says in tooltip) 100% is considered a safe value. Regards.
