Am I overlooking something? don't see Ball Nose listed in the "Tool Type" selection drop down.

Dunno. Anything that needs those conical ends to fit into something.
I am thinking about measuring wall thickness of a tube, and of a thread diameter.
Very specialized i think. Never used one like that. Never even seen one in real world.
