Ball nose in tool type missing?

Hi Aldar,
Am I overlooking something? don't see Ball Nose listed in the "Tool Type" selection drop down.

Never mind Aldar, found the ball nose selection tick box under tool data.

What are point micrometers used for, this one has two 60º comical points at each end?

Dunno. Anything that needs those conical ends to fit into something.
I am thinking about measuring wall thickness of a tube, and of a thread diameter.

Very specialized i think. Never used one like that. Never even seen one in real world.
