I just tried the program and purchased it. I really like the ability to save and store the cutters and speeds and feeds. I do a lot of 3D surface milling and one addition to the program that I believe would make this a truly exceptional program would be a cusp height /step over calculator for ball end mills. Steve

Hello Steve, Thank you for your purchase. I sent you your licnsense information earlyer today. Thank you for your suggestion too. I am planning to add cusp height calculator, but I am not sure yet whether to make it a totally separate calc inside HSMADVISOR. Or make it a mini-calc inside milling tool type. I am more leaning towards the later. I will probably add another button in engagement section to access that. Sort of like how interpolation calculator works. I plan to add it in 2 months. As right now I am working on improved material database and tool life estimator. Thank you.

Thanks for the Response to the cusp calculator. I would think it would be nice to have it right by where you select the BEM check box if possible, also it would be nice if it worked 2 ways where you could have either known value for cusp height that you want for a selected ball end mill. Or do a known step over value to see what the cusp would be for a ball end mill. Probably not necessary for both but I like to use the step over method for roughing and the cusp height method for finishing(just my Preference.
