Circular Saw/Bandsaw and Slitting Saw calculations

How would one calculate the correct feed rate for common circular saws and band saws on an automated saw system? Usually people are just punching in garbage and frying blades. Would like to leave this on a PC so they can set the correct feed rates

Same question but for slitting saws in a cnc mill.

Hello,

There is just too many different types of saws to accurately and reliably calculate such things.

Slitting saws are a different thing and can be calculated.
In fact there is already T-Slot cutter tool type that can do that for you.
