QC-10

hey there, can you add QC-10 and QC-7 as a material under non-ferrous? its an Alcoa product thanks

Hi! QC-10 by the looks of it should machine no different than 7075 Aluminum. Maybe 120% cutting speed. and QC-7 looks totally alike 7075. Without having machined them those are the numbers i would go with. Please report back is you see it machine differently than suggested for 7075 series aluminum.

i have been using "7075" from the pull down menu to machine QC-10 based on its hardness (150-170 HB acording to Alcoa), It seems to machine much like 7075, I didn't know how much different the properties were and how that might affect speed, feed, and tool life. It is very much like 7075 though. you can fly through it and not one bit gummy, we use it to make prototype molds. thanks
