Version 1.605 brings us the following new features:

• Width of Cut for milling tools can now be set as percentage of the tool diameter.
• Speeds and Feeds page now has bigger header with more information and bigger fonts.
• Added pilot hole for taps and readers to the cut info pane.
• Improved the functionality of the Scientific Calculator.

Mine was a productive one.

FSWizard Online has had a big update and now Materials list contains all material groups:

There is a catch, however: In the free version, ONLY material groups are available.

To get all the avialable materials you need to go to Settings, click on the "Customer Login" button and enter your FSWizard PRO credentials.

Huge "Farewell to MasterCAM x9" HSMAdvisor Hook update has been released.

The MC 2017 has been out for a few month now and because it has received quite mixed reviews from the machinist's community, i decided to release one more big update to our MCx9 hook before starting to fully work on adapting it for MC 2017.

This update v1.402 is a double update. The hook version has now caught up to the standalone AND we have some new features in standalone HSMAdvisor as well.

• Full ToolDB Functionality including editing and saving tools is now free.

Hello guys,

I have just uploaded a latest release of HSMAdvisor v0.801.

In this update i only added a few calculators to the new Reference Tab.

Lets review all those calculators here.
And since i last time got repremended by mr rlockwood for making my post too long and dry, i will spice it up with a ton of pictures and even a download link. BTW you can download the updated version over here http://hsmadvisor.com/index.php?page=Download

There are 3 new calculators.

Those are:

• Scientific Calc -a child of my labor over this weekend.
  The standard Windows calc was driving me crazy with its small buttons, so i whipped up this one. Maybe later i will make it a separate pop-up window or something
• Drll Point Calc - a handy tool that allows to calculate depth required to make a countersink of set angle, and tip flat size
• Partial Bolt Hole Calc- allows to find location of equally spaced holes laying on an ark.
