In version 2 we tried to keep the familiar layout of HSMAdvisor.
HSMAdvisor 2 is currently at the "Release Candidate" stage.
Every month I will be publishing an update that will reset its trial counter, so people can use it for free until it is finally production-ready.
The best thing of all is HSMAdvisor 2 license is completely compatible with its predecessor!

The addition of machine profiles is nice, but I think that the one for the "Shapeoko XXL with Dewalt 611 Router" is incorrect. The router is an AC universal motor with closed loop speed control. So the power curve is probably incorrect, and it's likley cablabe of less than 0.7 HP of continuous output power (120V @ 7A input and <62% efficiency). What do the power curve check boxes and the "Max. Cutting Force" entry box do?

Power Curve checkbox allows HSMAdvisor to apply the power curve to calculations. Max Cutting Force limits the cutting force exerted on the machine. Especially handy on hobby machines.
