Tormach 8L High Speed Profile

Tormach gave me some data to create a machine profile for the high range on the 8L which I have uploaded. Note: this is untested as I don't have an 8L to try this out on

Hello,

Thank you for the upload!

I checked it out and it seems fine.

Best regards.

Hi Eldar,

Your welcome :)

I have uploaded the Low-Speed Profile based on some more Tormach supplied data. Again, this is untested as I don't have an 8L to try this on. The unknown is the cutting force the lathe can accept. In the profiles, I set the cutting force to 0 and the warning to 80%. I discovered that setting the cutting force in the profile to 0 doesn't override feed/rev.

That is correct. In most places, 0 means "disregard the limit"
