Comparison between FSWizard and HSM Advisor
Hi, I am new to CNC but have soon found out that speeds and feeds are very important.
I downloaded FSWizard for android, entered an end mill and got some recommendations on speeds and feeds. These looked reasonable but I was looking for Plunge Feed and Speed which I couldn't find in the app.
So I downloaded HSMAdvisor and entered the same data and got very different results and the Plunge speeds and feeds look frightening.
I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but not sure what. Any ideas?
Here's the data from HSMADVisor with the results from FSWizard underlined
