hello;I'm currently performing a few tapping operations in 304 ss. i put the information into the app and it shows that the tap (m6x1) is only classed as a single flute. the tap that i am using is a m6 spiral point which on first inspection looks to have 3 flutes. Is there any way of adjusting this?.Any information is gratefully appreciated.Thanks.

The number of flutes for taps is actually the number of starts.
So for vast majority of taps that number will be 1.
