Pyramid Engraver

Is a pyramid engraving bit a three flute V-bit engraver? That is what I am using for now, but the cutting edge is rather obtuse compared to the typical cutter so I am not sure this definition works. Examples of the bit form are here, http://stores.ebay.com/SUPERWORKSHOP-BITBITWORLD/Carbide-Steel-Pyramid-Bits-/_i.html?_fsub=1541282012&_sid=942192292&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322

Thanks in advance,

Bob

I have never used those in my life.
So your guess would be as good as mine.

I would try to run it as a 3 flute V-bit.

It seems very strong.

So far, it also seems to leave a very nice finish at high speeds in wood.
