Slitting saws

I noticed that you haven't addressed milling with slitting saws. On the horizon?

Hi,
T-slot cutters or keyseat cutters are supported through the solid endmill and indexed endmill tool types.

You need to select solid endmill if you are using solid HSS or carbide tool.
Specify the diameter and make sure to specify correct shank diameter.
Set helix angle to 0 and flute length to the height of your t-slot tooth.

It will spit out pretty accurate calculation.
The most important part is to NOT forget about neck diameter.

Here is an example of a t-slot cutter i use at work http://zero-divide.net/index.php?page=fswizard&shell_id=199&load_tool_id=166823

I am a little reluctant to add special cases that can be defined using existing tool types.
I have thought about adding a sub-type drop down list and maybe i will return to that idea later.

Hope this helps.
Cheers!
