Flycutter (Tool Type)

Just recently upgraded to FSWizard (well worth the money)

The only thing I've noticed that's missing in the "Tool Type" Menu is Flycutting. So the question is: Does this type of milling cutter come under a different category?

Cheers
Dave

Hi,

Right now there is no special category for those. You can just use the single flute Indexed mill. Just make sure to enter the proper shank diameter and take lower DOC than it suggests by default.

Regards!

Hi Eldar

Many thanks for your quick response.

Yes I thought that maybe the case and I did use that function, the RPM came out almost the same as my calculations for steel 400/2in Cutter Diameter = 200 RPM

Would be appreciated if you could maybe add "flycutting" in the "Tool Type" menu though.

Regards
Dave
