MMR Priority

Hey guys and Eldar. I have been using HSMAdvisor for a good year now and it has been amazing so far. I use it on the Fadal 4020 at work without much fuss. But, I have a VMC20 at home and when using the TM-1 profile (machines are close power wise), I notice that the RPM defaults at the max the machine can handle, but as I drag the speed down, I notice a boost in MRR due to the torque curve provided in the machine definition. If that is the case, and I develop a very close representation of the machine as a profile, wouldn't it be nice to have MRR be of priority in situations like this? I guess all I am asking is to see if this could become an option/feature sooner or later. Thanks!

Hello,

Sorry it took me so long to come up with an answer.
At this point i do not have a reliable mechanism of doing this.

It is a nice feature and i have previously thought abut it. I just could not make it work well enough.

Maybe later i will be able to come up with a solution.

Thank you for the suggestion!

Eldar,

I'm not sure how you do the on the fly calculations, but what if there was a button that would collect all the various speeds from min to max (100RPM intervals would probably work, might be overkill) and then pull highest MRR from the dataset and then set the RPM to that data in relation to the MRR...

Just an idea. :ernaehrung004:

Speaking of MRR, could we please get more decimal places? This would be of particular use when using very small cutters where all settings show 0.01 in^3.
