Hello,
Go to "Settings" tab and make sure "Static fields" are unchecked
When checked they cause the machine limits to not override when new tool/cut is loaded from the myCut DB
It also causes them to go default when program is re-run.
If they are unchecked already and it still doesnt work, then tell me what Windows version you are running and what folder the program is installed in to.

Probably a very amateur question but for Machine Limits the Max Power refers to the spindle right? And the Max Torque refers to the max torque that the CNC actuators/frame can handle right?

(I didn't this group box referenced anywhere in the forum/tutorials so I thought I'd ask.)

Also, thank you for the floating pop out. But would it be possible to do that to the Gages section? I look at that a lot when I'm adjusting the values and it constantly gets switched over to the Warnings tab so I constantly have to switch back.

No, torque is also for spindle.
Reason is below certain RPM you get constant maximum torque.
But above that RPM torque fals and you get constant horsepower.
Check out one on the profiles with defined power curve to see what I am taking about.

It is assumed that axis motors are strong enough to do the job required.

Moving gages to a separate window is probaly excessive. You can go to settings tab and Uncheck "Switch to warnings tab upon error".
I usually leave it off myself. Whenever an error happens, you still see a red mark on that tab telling something is wrong.
