Is there anything I can do to help? I can measure speed and current consumption but I'm not familiar with what the standard tests are to generate power/torque curves.

Please use "Download" button on the Machine Profiles dialog.

I've made some machine definitions for a couple Mazak machines. I noticed the cloud based stuff, but when I tried to upload it I hit the login prompt.

Just click on the "Register" link on the left and it will let you immediately register an account. You need to set a new login and a password.

This is only done to let people (and the system) tell their stuff apart from somebody else's

And yes, PLEASE do upload!

Perhaps the first dialog should offer to Register, not log in....
